Our menu is intentionally small, changes regularly, sometimes daily and certainly weekly. Our curries are made fresh daily, with much pride by our chef Aon Krittathiranon. A classically trained Thai chef, Aon stays true to the Thai flavors in his recipes so you will not find Americanized dishes at ThìNì Thai. We only use freshly mortared herbs and spices such as galangal, lemongrass, Kaffir Lime, fresh Thai chilis, very rare and hard to find Mah Kwan Wild Peppercorn often referred to as Chiang Mai Wild Peppercorn and many other amazingly flavorful ingredients. We focus on dishes from Northern Thailand, specifically from Chiang Mai. Most of the food at ThìNì Thai is meant to be eaten family-style and sharing is encouraged. In Thailand, only a spoon and fork are used: the spoon to eat with and the fork to push food onto the spoon. We encourage you to try this method as it is the easiest way to eat many of these dishes. You’ll find other dishes such as grilled meats and sticky rice to be best when eaten with the hands.
